About me
Tigran Petrosian
I was born in Armenia. I completed my schooling there and enrolled in the Yerevan State University, Faculty of Economics. After two years of study, I won a competition to continue my education at the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Moscow, Russia. At MSU, I obtained a bachelor's and master's degree with honors.
I stayed in Moscow and started working there, began my career in a telecommunications company, then worked for a management company of a coal mining holding, a group of companies that included a large FMCG business. I held various positions in the field of finance and management.
Then I came across a wonderful book called "Digital Gold" about the beginnings of Bitcoin and I believed in cryptocurrencies. I am confident that cryptocurrencies do not yet occupy the place in the world that they deserve.Often it is challenging to find the information I need presented in the form I require— it is either too simplified (press these and those three buttons) or overly technically complex. It is rare to find explanations that satisfy my curiosity without requiring additional technical education. Sometimes, notes and drawings help me while reading—creating them helps to structure everything in my mind, and it becomes much easier to revisit a particular topic later.
Perhaps someone else will find my notes enjoyable and useful.
Since I am currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it wouldn't hurt to practice my Spanish as well. Therefore, the notes will be in three languages - English, Spanish and Russian.
